Jennifer Nettles, of country duo Sugarland, is just one of the many artists taking the stage this summer during the 2014 Fifth Third Bank Summer Concerts at Meijer Gardens! Here’s an exclusive sneak peek at two other acts from the series, which include alternative rock and disco funk:

Alternative rock band, NEEDTOBREATHE, is composed of brothers, Bear Rinehart (lead vocals, guitar, piano) and Bo Rinehart (guitar), with Seth Bolt (bass). From South Carolina, the band has released four studio albums, with hits such as “Washed by the Water,” “Something Beautiful,” and “Keep your eyes open.” Their new album, Rivers in the Wasteland, was released on April 15, 2014

Best known as half of the successful country pop duo Sugarland, singer and songwriter Jennifer Nettles recently launched her solo career and has a new album under her belt. Nettle’s duet with Bon Jovi on the country version of the band’s 2006 single “Who Says You Can’t Go Home” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles Chart. Audiences all over American may remember her as a judge and mentor on ABC’s Duets in 2012. The Grammy Award winner’s solo album, That Girl, debuted in January 2014.

KC and the Sunshine Band

KC and the Sunshine have been the voice of the disco and funk genre since the band formed in 1973. Their songs have been featured on more than 200 motion picture film soundtracks, every major sporting event and holiday parade over the years. Their numerous award-winning hits include, “That’s the Way (I Like It), “(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty,” “Get Down Tonight,” and “Give It Up.” The band has been entertaining audiences for more than 37 years and counting.

Prices will be announced with the full lineup in mid-April. Tickets go on sale to members April 26 and to the public May 10.
